Red Fox Studio 1/72 Asphalt Diorama Base - France 300x230mm
Red Fox Studio 1/72 Asphalt France is a 300 × 230 mm diorama base made of printed 5 mm PVC. The asphalt motif is complemented by the ARMÉE DE L'AIR lettering and a circular cockade. No model is included.
The ARMÉE DE L'AIR lettering and a circular cockade form the central motif of this base. The pale marking is set into a dark asphalt surface and has a deliberately weathered appearance. This makes the base a good choice for displaying models of French Air Force aircraft.
The manufacturer uses a 5 mm extruded PVC board with a colour UV print that creates an impression of surface depth. According to the manufacturer, the semi-gloss surface withstands UV light as well as modelling paints and washes. The 300 × 230 mm format is intended for 1/72 scale models; whether a particular aircraft fits depends on its span and length. Only the base is supplied.
