MR. The Mr. HobbyAMMO MIG WY01 YAKUMO WWII Western Front Set introduces a new, simplified weathering system that is the result of combining Mr. Hobby’s many years of experience in the production of model paints and chemicals with the revolutionary techniques of Migo Jiménez (AMMO).

This set focuses on the climatic and geographical conditions of the Western Front in 1944–1945, where German military vehicles fought on dusty roads, in muddy areas, and across varied European terrain.

• Focus: The set is specifically formulated to simulate summer dust, dry mud, and grime on vehicles bearing the three-color camouflage patterns (Dunkelgelb, Olivgrün, Rotbraun) that were standard on the Western Front.

• Techniques: The YAKUMO system was designed so that even beginners can achieve highly realistic results using just a few basic steps, such as washing (blurring), streaking (running dirt), and pigmentation (dust deposits).

The set contains four carefully selected products needed for comprehensive patination:

1. DARK WASH (Enamel): A dark enamel wash to highlight panel lines, details, and recesses, adding depth to the base camouflage.

2. DARK STREAKING GRIME (Enamel): Dark streaking grime to simulate vertical lines and streaks caused by rain and dirt.

3. DRY MUD (Enamel): An enamel paint (mud) for creating the effect of dried, lighter-colored mud, typical of the dry summer and fall months.

4. EUROPE DUST (Pigment): A fine pigment to mimic settled dust and grime that accumulates on horizontal surfaces and the undercarriage.
