Tamiya X-20 Enamel Thinner (250 ml) is a thinner designed exclusively for Tamiya Color Enamel paints. The large size is ideal for modelers who regularly apply enamel paints with an airbrush, use them for details, or create weathering effects with them.
How to Use X-20
- Thinning: Add in small amounts and check the consistency regularly.
- Airbrushing: The manufacturer recommends a starting ratio of approximately 2 parts thinner to 10 parts enamel paint; adjust the ratio according to the nozzle, pressure, and desired coverage.
- Scraping and Corrections: X-20 can be used to remove or soften an enamel layer and to work with enamel effects.
- Cleaning: Clean brushes and tools immediately after use, before the paint dries.
Not intended for use with Tamiya X/XF acrylic paints or LP lacquer paints. For these systems, use the appropriate X-20A Acrylic Thinner or Lacquer Thinner.
