Tamiya 35394 1/35 German Tractor RSO/01
Late-production RSO/01 in 1:35, from spring 1943. Engine, interior, driver, two markings, window masks and optional cargo-bed cover.
Tamiya 35394 depicts the German tracked RSO/01 tractor in its late-production form from spring 1943. Built to haul supplies and artillery across difficult terrain, it is recognisable by its rounded pressed-steel cab. A raised cab floor allowed clearance for snow-track fittings. The 1:35 model measures 126 × 64 mm.
Details include the air-cooled V8 beneath the cab, propeller shaft, fuel tank and exhaust. Seats, pedals and a driver figure furnish the interior. Tracks combine individual links with longer straight sections to simplify assembly.
The cargo bed can be covered with a five-part textured canvas representation or left open to show its frame and wood texture. Front grille options include winter cover plates; snow-track fittings can be shown stowed in side racks. Pre-cut clear-window masks, frame masking and two 1944 marking options for the Eastern Front and France are supplied.
The rear hook accepts a separately sold 5cm Pak 38. The gun and diorama loads are not automatically included in this item. Supplied as an unassembled, unpainted plastic kit requiring cement.
