Tamiya 24376 1978 Ford Zakspeed Capri Turbo is a 1:24 scale plastic kit for assembly. Zakspeed’s extremely low and wide Capri was developed for Group 5 racing in the German DRM championship. The kit depicts the 1978 version with enlarged arches, a large rear wing and distinctive red-and-yellow Mampe graphics.
The cockpit includes a roll cage and driver in a racing seat. Plated mesh wheels and rubber tyres differ in width front to rear; aerodynamic wheel covers are optional. The underside depicts the lower Cosworth BDA engine and flat chassis. Cartograf decals are accompanied by Goodyear tyre markings. Dimensions are 210 × 86 × 51 mm.
Paint and cement are not included.
