Focke Wulf Fw 189A ‘Owls over the Eastern Front’ 1/72

The Focke-Wulf Fw 189 was a German twin-engine aircraft with a distinctive design — a glazed central cockpit and a pair of tail booms, which earned it the nickname ‘Uhu’ (Owl). It was developed primarily as a tactical reconnaissance and observation aircraft and proved itself excellently in this role. The excellent visibility from the glazed cockpit, good manoeuvrability and surprising durability made it a popular and respected aircraft, particularly when deployed on the Eastern Front, where it was used for observation, artillery fire correction and liaison duties.
