AK Interactive AK8200 Anti-Slip Texture (2 components) is used to create a scale-accurate non-slip texture on the horizontal surfaces of military vehicles and other models. The set consists of adhesive and microparticles that, once applied, mimic the rough surface found in areas where crews move in rain, mud, or snow.
Recommended Procedure
- Mark off the area with masking tape and degrease the surface.
- Apply a thin layer of the included adhesive only to the areas where the anti-slip texture is desired.
- Sprinkle the microparticles into the fresh adhesive. Once dry, carefully brush off any excess or remove it with a soft brush.
- Once completely dry, spray the surface with primer and proceed with standard painting, washing, and patina application.
