Academy 12591 F-35A Lightning II “1000th” is a detailed 1/72-scale plastic model kit of a modern multi-role aircraft. The main variant represents USAF aircraft 22-5696, which became the 1,000th aircraft produced in the F-35 family in 2024.
The model features a detailed cockpit, weapon bays, and landing gear. The bay doors and landing gear doors can be assembled in either the open or closed position, and a pilot figure is included. The armament includes the AIM-9X, AIM-120C, GBU-31(V)3, and GBU-38.
