The F-15I RA’AM (Hebrew for ‘Thunder’) is the Israeli variant of the American two-seater multi-role fighter aircraft, the F-15E Strike Eagle, developed specifically for the needs of the Israeli Air Force. The aircraft combines air superiority capabilities with a powerful strike role, enabling it to carry out both air defence missions and precision strikes against ground targets at long range. The two-man crew, consisting of a pilot and a weapons systems operator, allows for an effective division of tasks during demanding combat missions. The F-15I remains one of the key aircraft types in the Israeli Air Force and is one of the most capable aircraft in its category.

This Academy kit, in 1:48 scale, captures the distinctive features of this high-performance aircraft, including its robust airframe, two-seater cockpit and typical configuration for carrying armament and auxiliary fuel tanks. The large 1:48 scale and the model’s length of around 40.5 cm allow for a highly detailed rendering of the surface, panelling and the undercarriage, making it a rewarding build both for display in a showcase and for collectors of modern military aircraft. With a recommended age of 14 and over, the model is suitable for more advanced beginners as well as experienced modellers.

When painting, the panelling is usually highlighted and a subtle weathering effect is applied to reflect service in Middle Eastern conditions. The pack does not contain the paints or adhesives required for assembly.
