A-20B/C/DB-7 Boston Mk.III Wheels 1/48 / for HK Models kits
CMK 4518 is a set of 3D printed 1:48 scale wheels designed as a detailed replacement for the plastic wheels from the HK Models kit. The set includes main wheels with characteristic flattened tyres under the weight of the aircraft and a tail wheel. It is designed for A-20B/C, DB-7 and Boston Mk.III variants.
The Douglas A-20 Havoc was a two-seat light bomber and attack aircraft that served with a number of Allied air forces during World War II. The export version, designated DB-7, was supplied to France and Great Britain, with the British variant designated Boston - the Mk.III version was used mainly in operations over North Africa, the Mediterranean and in raids from UK territory. The aircraft was valued for its speed, low-altitude maneuverability and the reliability of its Wright R-2600 Cyclone engines. The Soviet Union received over four thousand of the various versions of the A-20 under Lend-Lease, where they formed the backbone of the Light Bomber Air Force on the Eastern Front.
The CMK 4518 kit from Czech manufacturer Czech Master Kits (CMK) is an aftermarket accessory designed for modelers who want to increase the level of detail of HK Models 1:48 scale kits. The wheels are 3D printed from grey resin and offer significantly higher fidelity than standard plastic kit parts. The main wheels are made with a flattened tire to simulate the load of a standing aircraft, a detail that contributes greatly to the realistic result of the model on a pedestal or in a diorama. The kit is compatible with HK Models' A-20B/C, DB-7 and Boston Mk.III variants.
The package does not include paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
