Ringtrichter Richtungshörer Horchgerät (RRH) – German WW2 Acoustic Monitoring Device is a 1/72-scale resin model kit of military equipment from CMK.
Acoustic devices were used to determine the position and direction of aircraft as early as World War I. Despite the widespread use of radar, the Luftwaffe and heavy anti-aircraft artillery units continued to use RRH devices—developed in the 1930s—until the end of World War II for early warning against approaching Allied bomber formations. As late as 1944, over 5,000 of these devices were still in use. This all-resin model of this visually striking device was designed in 3D and, given its scale, is highly detailed. AFFILIATION: Germany / WWII
The resin parts require cleaning, test fitting, and gluing with a suitable adhesive. Paints, adhesive, and tools are not typically included in the package.
