1/48 P-61 Black Widow double-sided painting mask for Great Wall Hobby
ASK masks for the Great Wall Hobby P-61 Black Widow plastic kit in 1/48 scale are double-sided. Two sheets cover the glazing and other clear parts inside and out, with wheel masks as well.
The masks are ASK's own design, matched to the exact shape of the glazing in the Great Wall Hobby P-61 Black Widow kit (1/48). Double-sided set ASK 200-M48024 from the SCALE MASK range (DOUBLE-SIDED) comes on two sheets. The first, printed with the code of the one-sided version 200-M48023, carries masks numbered up to 50 for the outer side of the clear parts and WHEELS sections with wheel masks; the second sheet holds the masks for the inner side of the glazing. This pays off wherever the frames are clearly visible from inside the cockpits.
The P-61 Black Widow was developed by Northrop as the first US aircraft designed from the start as a radar-equipped night fighter. It was armed with four 20 mm cannon under the fuselage and a dorsal turret with four machine guns; the first production aircraft rolled off the line in October 1943. The sheet is headed P-61B and the masks fit the Great Wall Hobby kit in 1/48 scale.
