1/72 PZL P.11/P.24 Wheels (3d printed)

IBG Models 3D-printed wheels for PZL P.11/P.24 in 1:72 are detailed replacements for the wheels from the plastic model kit. 3D printing preserves the fine details of the rims, sidewalls, and tread, which are difficult to achieve at a small scale using conventional injection molding. The set is designed for all IBG Models PZL P.11 and P.24 kits.

Recommended Procedure

1. Before removing the support structures, compare the wheels with the kit’s undercarriage and verify that you have the correct variant based on the selected reference.
2. Remove the 3D-printed support structures gradually using fine-tip pliers or a scalpel; smooth the contact points by lightly sanding them.
3. Test-fit the parts on the landing gear axles without glue. Make any necessary adjustments to the holes in small increments to ensure the wheel remains properly seated.
4. Degrease the surface, apply a thin coat of primer, and paint the tire and rim separately. Accent the tread pattern with a light wash and dry pigment to match the model’s environment.
5. Attach the wheels with a small amount of cyanoacrylate adhesive; standard polystyrene glue will not bond 3D-printed material.

Note: The plastic kit is not included in the package.

Use model paints and primers and adhesives suitable for 3D-printed parts to finish the model.
