The Piper PA-18C "Super Cub" is an upgraded version of the famous J-3 Cub, known for its reliability and ability to operate from unpaved surfaces. In military service, under the designations L-18 and L-21, it was used for reconnaissance, liaison duties and artillery fire control in various armies around the world. Its rugged design and ease of handling made it popular not only in the military but also in the civilian sector.
The 1/72 scale kit from Kovozávody Prostějov offers a faithful rendition of the canvas covering of the structure and the basic cockpit interior. Included is a decal sheet for four different military versions. The model is suitable for both display and diorama use and, thanks to the smaller scale, will not take up much space.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
