1/72 Gloster Meteor Mk.4 World Speed Record
The Special Hobby 1/72 Gloster Meteor Mk.4 World Speed Record is a plastic model of one of the most significant British jet fighters. The Meteor Mk.4 was the first postwar version of this type and was significantly more powerful. The model depicts the aircraft that broke world speed records between 1945 and 1946, including the EE454, EE455, and EE549, which reached speeds of up to 991.33 km/h.
- The kit includes two frames of plastic parts, an injection-moulded canopy, decals for the three record-breaking aircraft, photo-etched grilles, and masks for covering the cockpit.
- The latter variant is offered in two versions—camouflage and all-blue with a shorter wing.
The 1/72 scale is ideal for detailed modeling and smaller display cases. The package does not include the paints or glue needed for assembly.
Complete the kit with suitable model paints and plastic model adhesives.
