1/700 Aircraft Carrier USSR MINSK
Trumpeter 1/700 USSR Minsk is a plastic kit of the Soviet Kiev-class aircraft-carrying cruiser. It contains 123 parts, separate upper and lower hull and brass propellers. Paints and glue are not included.
Minsk was the second Project 1143 (Kiev class) aircraft-carrying cruiser, a design that combined an angled flight deck for helicopters and Yak-38 jets with heavy missile armament on the bow. She was commissioned into the Soviet Navy in 1978 and served with the Pacific Fleet.
According to the box the kit contains 123 parts on three sprues, the upper hull to the waterline, the lower hull, the deck and the bridge. The photo-etched content consists of four brass propellers, and the decals cover Soviet Kiev-class ships.
The finished model measures 387 mm long and 78 mm wide according to the box; the separate lower hull allows a full-hull or waterline build. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
