1/48 Spitfire VII / VIII / IX early recommended for Eduard / ICM

The Spitfire is one of the most famous fighter aircraft of World War II, and its Mk.VII, Mk.VIII and early Mk.IX versions represent the developmentally key variants of the transition to the higher-performance Rolls-Royce Merlin two-stage engine. It was these types that brought significant changes to the cockpit layout - automation of radiator controls, modifications to the instrument panel and new controls to meet the increased demands on the pilot during high altitude operations and air combat over Europe and the Mediterranean. The dashboard was thus not just a technical feature, but a direct reflection of the Spitfire's gradual transformation from a defensive fighter into a versatile fighting machine.

The YahuModel YMA4827 kit is a 1:48 scale colour etched dashboard designed for Eduard and ICM kits depicting the Mk.VII, Mk.VIII and early Mk.IXc/Mk.IXe variants. The part is made by chemical etching technique from metal and pre-painted, so it faithfully reproduces the appearance of the real dashboard, including the colour differentiation of the individual instruments - without the need for manual repainting. JustStick technology means that the part is ready to be assembled directly into the kit: simply slide it carefully out of the frame and into place. The result is a significantly truer and more detailed cockpit than a standard plastic kit part, with minimal effort. The package does not include glue.
