Hobby Boss 1/350 Akula 83525 is a plastic kit of the Project 971 Shchuka-B attack submarine. Akula is the NATO designation here; it does not mean the large ballistic-missile submarine known to NATO as Typhoon. This distinction matters when choosing Russian submarine subjects.
The upper and lower hull are separate, with smaller plastic parts on one sprue. The photo-etched details include the nameplate and propeller. A stand supports a full-hull display; the stated model length is 314.5 mm.
Paint and glue are not included.
