Add the retarder only in small amounts. It is useful in high temperatures, low humidity, or when doing detailed shading, when the paint dries too quickly. Using too much will significantly prolong curing time and may make it harder to control the coat; therefore, always test the resulting mixture first.
Practical Use
- for a longer open time of Premium Color paints and varnishes,
- for smoother transitions and to prevent rapid drying during airbrushing,
- does not replace Reducer; adjust viscosity with a suitable thinner.
