Red Fox Studio 1/48 Asphalt Diorama Base - Switzerland 380x320mm
Red Fox Studio 1/48 Asphalt Switzerland is a 380 × 320 mm diorama base made of printed 5 mm PVC. The asphalt motif is complemented by the SCHWEIZER LUFTWAFFE lettering and a Swiss cross on a round field. No model is included.
The SCHWEIZER LUFTWAFFE lettering and a Swiss cross on a round field form the central motif of this base. The pale marking is set into a dark asphalt surface and has a deliberately weathered appearance. This makes the base a good choice for displaying models of Swiss Air Force aircraft.
The carrier board is 5 mm extruded PVC. The colour UV print with a relief-like effect has a semi-gloss surface which, according to the manufacturer, tolerates UV light and contact with paints and washes. The 380 × 320 mm area is sized for 1/48 scale, and the base is not linked to any kit manufacturer. It comes without a model.
