Red Fox Studio 1/48 Asphalt Diorama Base – Poland offers a 380 × 320 mm surface for displaying a model. The dark asphalt carries the POLISH AIR FORCE lettering and a checkerboard insignia. The model is not part of the package.
The print reproduces a dark asphalt surface with lighter streaks. The main motif is the POLISH AIR FORCE lettering with a checkerboard insignia, rendered in a pale colour with a worn look. The base is therefore a natural match for models of Polish Air Force aircraft.
The manufacturer uses a 5 mm extruded PVC board with a colour UV print that creates an impression of surface depth. According to the manufacturer, the semi-gloss surface withstands UV light as well as modelling paints and washes. The 380 × 320 mm format is intended for 1/48 scale models; whether a particular aircraft fits depends on its span and length. Only the base is supplied.
