Red Fox Studio 1/48 Asphalt Diorama Base - France 380x320mm

The print reproduces a dark asphalt surface with lighter streaks. The main motif is the ARMÉE DE L'AIR lettering with a circular cockade, rendered in a pale colour with a worn look. The base is therefore a natural match for models of French Air Force aircraft.

The base measures 380 × 320 mm and consists of a 5 mm extruded PVC board with a UV print. The print has a three-dimensional effect and a semi-gloss finish that the manufacturer describes as resistant to UV light, paints and washes; the manufacturer also notes that the board is easy to cut down to a smaller format. It is intended for 1/48 scale models without being tied to a specific kit, and no model is included.
