1/35 US Heavy Wrecker Ward LaFrance M1000, series 5 Bonus Edition

The Ward LaFrance M1000 Series 5 recovery vehicle was one of the US Army's most important support vehicles during World War II. It was designed to be a rugged and reliable platform capable of handling heavy armored vehicles in challenging battlefield conditions. Built on a 6×6 chassis and equipped with a Continental six-cylinder engine, it could tow tanks, self-propelled guns and trucks. The Series 5 version, introduced in 1943, featured an upgraded hydraulic crane, a military cab with a canvas roof and a folding windshield. Due to its versatility, it served on both the European and Pacific battlefields, where it was an indispensable element of logistical support.
