Bundle: Contagion Engines
Bundle: Contagion Engines is a discounted model pack for the Death Guard faction of Warhammer 40,000. It includes 3x Foetid Bloat-Drone and 2x Myphitic Blight-Hauler - the key daemon engine units that form the core of the new Contagion Engines detachment coming with the 11th Edition (out in June). Ideal for players looking to start playing Death Guard in the new edition or expand their existing army with mobile fire support. The models are designed to be built separately. Package does not include paint or glue.
Bundle: Contagion Engines is an unofficial discounted bundle for players of the Death Guard army in Warhammer 40,000. It includes 3× Foetid Bloat-Drone and 2× Myphitic Blight-Hauler, a total of five plastic models of the corrupted daemon engines that form the backbone of the motorized forces of the followers of Nurgle. This build was purposely designed with the arrival of Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition coming in June, and the new Contagion Engines detachment introduced in Faction Focus for Death Guard.
The Foetid Bloat-Drone is a flying daemon engine that combines speed with devastating firepower - perfect for aggressive play and pressuring enemy lines. The Myphitic Blight-Hauler is a smaller but tough support vehicle with a combination of anti-tank and anti-infantry weaponry, capable of operating alone or in formations of up to three. Together, they form the flexible core of an engine pool that the Contagion Engines detachment uses to its full potential.
The new Contagion Engines detachment is built around maximizing the potential of Daemon Engines and Death Guard vehicles. Its main rule grants friendly Contagion Engine units (such as the Foetid Bloat-Drone, Helbrute, or Myphitic Blight-Hauler) the Assault keyword on their ranged weapons, allowing heavily armored support units to advance while firing. The detachment carries the tag "Engine" and cannot be combined with any other detachment with the same tag. Interesting enhancements include the Parasitic Woe Reaper, which allows a Contagion unit to heal D3 damage if it is below its starting life count - greatly increasing the resilience of priority vehicles. The Bloodrust Deluge stratagem then offers useful debuffs and wound options for enemy units, and can be combined with other stratagems like Warp-Tainted Saturation.
The bundle's composition makes it a great choice for anyone looking to start playing Death Guard in the new edition, or for existing players looking to add key elements to their army for a new detachment. The models are in the standard 1:56 scale for Warhammer 40,000, are designed to be assembled separately, and offer a wealth of detail for painting projects - from corroded panels and rust-ridden hulls to pulsating nurglit details and the hallmarks of Death Guard's infectious decay.
Please note: This bundle is not an official Games Workshop product, it is a custom build from separately available kits. The pack does not include the paint or glue needed to assemble the models.
