B-17G waist section 1/48 recommended for HKM
Eduard 491062 for B-17G HK Models 1:48: colour and unpainted photo-etch for gunner positions, ammunition feeds and interior fittings.
Eduard 491062 adds detail to the gunner section of the HK Models B-17G in 1:48 scale. Two frets contain both colour and unpainted parts, enhancing equipment around the waist guns and other interior gunner-station fittings.
Parts include instrument panels and boxes, brackets, headphones, gun-sight details and articulated ammunition feed chutes. The instructions also cover small controls in the lower ball turret and details of the tail gun position. The ammunition chutes are folded using the included etched forming template; they are not ready-made castings.
Assembly requires bending, embossing selected parts from the reverse and adding small lengths of plastic rod as specified. Some original detail must be removed. Plan installation before closing the fuselage. The base kit and complete replacement machine guns are not included.
