Adeptus Mechanicus: Skitarii
Warhammer 40,000: Adeptus Mechanicus: Skitarii is a plastic model of a set of ten cybernetically enhanced Adeptus Mechanicus soldiers to be glued together. The kit allows you to build ten Skitarii Rangers or ten Skitarii Vanguard. The kit contains 124 parts, including 23 heads, 25 weapons, portable decals, one 60×35.5mm oval base and ten 25mm round bases. The model is made in 1:56 scale (28 mm) and is suitable for Warhammer 40,000 games and as a collector's item for painting. The kit does not include the paints or glue needed for assembly.
The Skitarii are the cybernetically enhanced infantry of the Adeptus Mechanicus, a mystical cult dedicated to the Almighty God-Three who controls all the technology of the Empire. These soldiers are more machine than human, and their bodies have been replaced with bionic implants that enhance their combat abilities, endurance and accuracy. The Skitarii serve the Tech-Captains as tireless warriors, protecting sacred technologies and searching for lost archaeological artefacts across the galaxy.
This multi-part plastic set offers the opportunity to build two different types of units:
Skitarii Rangers are scouts and snipers equipped with long-range galvanic rifles. Their mission is to map enemy positions, secure strategic points and eliminate targets from long range. Rangers are equipped with advanced sensors and targeting systems that allow them to operate in the most inaccessible terrain.
Vanguard Skitarii are assault units specialising in close-range combat. Their radiation carbines emit lethal radiation that weakens and kills enemies before direct contact. Vanguard are immune to radiation thanks to cybernetic modifications and often lead the first wave of attacks.
The set contains 124 parts providing a wide range of customisation options - 23 different heads (11 of which are Ranger specific), 25 weapon options including special and heavy weapons such as plasma carbines, arc guns or transuranic arquebuses. Each model can be individually customised, allowing you to create a unique unit with its own character.
Included is one 60×35.5mm oval stand (suitable for any special models or conversions) and ten standard 25mm round stands for individual Skitarii. The included sheet of portable stickers contains Adeptus Mechanicus symbols that can be used to mark units or highlight details.
Designed at 1:56 scale (28mm), which is the standard for Warhammer 40,000, the Skitarii are an ideal choice for the Adeptus Mechanicus army and offer interesting painting possibilities - the combination of organic and mechanical elements, glowing optics, worn metals and iconic symbols create visually striking models suitable for both the gaming table and display case.
