1/72 Piaggio P.108B double-sided painting express mask for Special Hobby
ASK masks for the Piaggio P.108B in 1/72 scale, a double-sided self-adhesive Express set designed for the Special Hobby plastic kit. The EXTERIOR section covers the bomber's glazing outside, and INTERIOR covers the same panels inside.
This set is ASK's own design, shaped to the clear parts of the Special Hobby Piaggio P.108B kit in 1/72 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M72056 from the SCALE MASK range comes in two parts. The EXTERIOR section carries masks 1–78 (including 62b) for the outer side of the glazing, two small circular masks numbered 76 and four large ring masks numbered 77; the INTERIOR section repeats the window and glazing masks with the same numbering for the inner side, so the frames seen from inside the fuselage stay clean too. The one-sided version is 200-M72055.
The P.108 Bombardiere was the only four-engined strategic bomber of Italy's Regia Aeronautica in the Second World War, and the P.108B was the only version produced in any quantity. The prototype first flew on 24 November 1939; in August 1941 Bruno Mussolini was killed flying one of the prototypes. The masks are intended for the Special Hobby kit in 1/72 scale.
