1/72 Heinkel He 111H-2/H-3 double-sided painting mask for Hasegawa / Hobby2000
ASK masks for the Heinkel He 111H-2/H-3 from the Hasegawa and Hobby 2000 kits in 1/72 scale, in a double-sided self-adhesive version. Two sheets cover the glazed nose and other glazing inside and out, with a WHEELS section added.
The mask shapes come from ASK's own design work, matched to the parts of the Heinkel He 111H-2/H-3 kits from Hasegawa and Hobby 2000 in 1/72 scale. Double-sided set ASK 200-M72009 (SCALE MASK) consists of two sheets. The main sheet has mask groups named after the kit's clear parts (N2, N14, S1, R1, S2), a CLEAR PARTS section and a WHEELS section with masks J16 and J17; the second sheet carries further masks for the opposite side of the glazing. The set is intended for the Hasegawa and Hobby 2000 kits in 1/72 scale; the one-sided version is 200-M72008.
The He 111 was the Luftwaffe's most numerous bomber in the early stages of the Second World War. On 2 September 1939 the Luftwaffe had 787 He 111s, including 400 H-1s and H-2s produced in just four months. The H-3, with more powerful Jumo 211 D-1 engines, entered production in October 1939.
