1/48 J7W1 Shinden one-sided express mask, self-adhesive and pre-cut for Hasegawa
ASK one-sided self-adhesive Express masks for the Hasegawa J7W1 Shinden in 1/48 scale. Masks 1–10 cover the outside of the windscreen and cockpit panes, the WHEELS section carries wheel masks.
One-sided set ASK 200-M48125 (SCALE MASK) contains a sheet with masks 1–10 for the outer side of the clear parts and a WHEELS section with circular wheel masks. The double-sided version, with masks for the inner side of the panes too, is 200-M48124.
The Kyushu J7W1 Shinden had an unusual layout: canard foreplanes in the nose, the wing at the rear of the fuselage and a pusher propeller driven by an engine behind the cockpit. The navy developed it as a land-based interceptor to counter B-29 bombers. Only two prototypes were completed, and neither took part in the war. The set is intended for the Hasegawa plastic kit in 1/48 scale.
