1/48 F-14A Tomcat one-sided express fit mask for GWH
ASK masks for the Great Wall Hobby F-14A Tomcat in 1/48 come as a one-sided Express Fit set. Large shaped masks and angled outline strips cover the cockpit glazing from the outside.
ASK drew up these masks itself, directly for the parts of the Great Wall Hobby F-14A Tomcat kit in 1/48 scale. Sheet ASK 200-M48221 from the SCALE MASK range carries three large shaped pane masks (1–3), angled outline strips 4–11 that follow the glazing edges along the frames, and the small masks 12, 14 and 15. The one-sided layout covers the outer face of the clear parts of the Great Wall Hobby kit in 1/48 scale.
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was an American two-seat, carrier-based fighter with a variable-sweep wing. It first flew on 21 December 1970, made its first deployment aboard USS Enterprise in 1974 and replaced the F-4 Phantom II in US Navy service. The Navy retired it in September 2006.
