The Safir was produced in both three- and four-seat variants and was produced both in Sweden and under licence in the Netherlands. The kit includes plastic mouldings of the new moulds and decals for the four camouflage schemes in Swedish service. The package does not include the paints or glues needed for assembly.
The SAAB 91 Safir was a Swedish single-engine trainer used primarily for pilot training and basic flight training. It was characterized by its simple design and reliability, which made it a popular type in several European countries.
This 1/72 scale Kovozávody Prostějov kit contains detailed plastic mouldings from new moulds. The model offers the possibility to build in four different Swedish camouflage schemes. The smaller scale makes it suitable for both display cases and dioramas with other aircraft in this category.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
