Special Hobby 1/72 P-40K-1/5 Warhawk "Short Fuselage" is a plastic model of an American World War II fighter aircraft with a short fuselage and a wide vertical tail. The kit contains three sprues of gray plastic parts, one sprue of clear parts, and decals.
- The decals allow you to build four different aircraft:
- P-40K-1 (42-46040), White 13, Pilot 1st Lt. Robert J. “Crash” Overcash, 64th FS, 57th FG, Africa, May 1943
- P-40K, White 23, pilot Lt. Nikolai Fyodorovich Kuznetsov, 436th IAP Regiment, USSR, winter 1943
- P-40K-5 (42-9768), white 255, Maj. Edward M. Nollmeyer, 26th FS/51st FG, China, December 1943
- P-40K, white 15, 25th FS, 51st FG, India, 1944
The model is highly detailed and offers a wide range of camouflage schemes. The package does not include the paints or glue needed for assembly.
Complete the kit with suitable model paints and plastic model adhesives.
