1/72 Jak-1b
Arma Hobby 1/72 Yakovlev Yak-1b is a plastic model of a Soviet fighter aircraft from World War II. The kit contains grey and transparent plastic, two variants of the cockpit (open/closed), a jig for precise assembly of the landing gear, Cartograf decals for two variants of markings (Polish 1. Fighter Regiment "Warszawa" 1944, Soviet 31st Guards Fighter Regiment 1943), cover masks for cab and wheels, instructions and QR code for 3D printable details (seat with straps, exhausts, radiator grilles, undercarriage scissors). The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
The Yak-1b was one of the most famous Soviet fighter aircraft of World War II. The modernized “b” version offered pilots better visibility thanks to a lowered fuselage and teardrop-shaped canopy, a retractable tail wheel, and more powerful armament. Yak-1b aircraft took part in key battles on the Eastern Front and were prized for their agility and performance.
