1/72 Heinkel He 119 - Valom

The Heinkel He 119 was an experimental German high-speed aircraft with an unusual powerplant: two coupled DB 601 units formed the fuselage-mounted DB 606 and drove the propeller through a long shaft passing through the cockpit. The project was conceived as a fast unarmed reconnaissance bomber.

The V4 prototype was the land-based record variant; in 1937 it achieved an average speed of more than 500 km/h during a record flight carrying a payload.
