1/72 E16A1 Zuiun Weapons

The Aichi E16A Zuiun (Allied codename: "Paul") was a Japanese seaplane reconnaissance aircraft with bombing capability that served in the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II. The machine was designed as a modern deck reconnaissance aircraft for catapult launching from warships, particularly battleships and heavy cruisers. Unlike earlier types, the Zuiun had superior performance and the ability to carry a variety of armament, from reconnaissance bombs to torpedoes to depth charges for anti-submarine warfare. In practice, however, the type appeared relatively late in the war and its deployment was limited, due in part to the rapid decline of Japanese large vessels capable of carrying it.
