1/72 Airco DH.9a (early version) - Advanced kit - Clear Prop
Clear Prop 1/72 Airco DH.9a (early version) - Advanced kit is a detailed model of a British bomber from the end of WWI. The kit offers precision crafted parts, rich equipment and high level of detail. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Airco DH.9a was developed from the DH.9 as an improved daytime bomber, which first entered service in 1918. Compared to its predecessor, it was equipped with a more powerful American-made Liberty L-12 engine, which improved its performance and reliability. The aircraft was deployed on the Western Front during the final battles of World War I and remained in service in the postwar period. Thanks to its robustness and simple design, it also became popular among other users, including those in the Commonwealth, and was used in distant colonial territories.
This 1/72 scale kit from Clear Prop, part of the “Advanced Kit” series, features highly detailed plastic parts, finely engraved surfaces, and a precise cockpit. The package also includes photo-etched parts and decals for several camouflage schemes. The model is intended for more experienced modelers seeking an authentic representation of an early version of this significant World War I bomber.
The kit does not include the paints or adhesives needed for assembly.
