The Aermacchi MB-339 is an Italian trainer and light attack aircraft that builds on the success of its predecessor, the MB-326. It features upgraded avionics, high maneuverability and the ability to operate from short runways. In the Light Attack version, the MB-339 was equipped with six underwing mounts for various types of armament, allowing deployment in a wide range of combat roles. The aircraft became a symbol of Italian aeronautical engineering and is still in use today.
The 1/72 scale Kovozávody Prostějov kit offers the MB-339 with decals for the three Italian camouflage versions. The model is suitable for both display case and diorama. Thanks to the detailed workmanship it is suitable for more experienced modellers and collectors of modern aircraft.
