1/48 Zlin Z-50 recommended for AZ Model / Model Maker

The Zlin Z-50 is a single-engine aerobatic aircraft of Czechoslovak design, which first flew in 1975. It was developed by the Zlin factory as a high-performance racing machine for world aerobatic competitions and soon gained international recognition - pilots on the Z-50 repeatedly achieved medal positions at world championships. The aircraft is characterized by its exceptional agility, solid construction and precise control response, making it a favorite tool of top aerobatic pilots even today. Several developmental variants have been created, the most widely used being the Z-50 L, LS and LX, differing in engine power and minor design modifications.

The 1:48 scale Yahu Model kit features an etched instrument panel with high quality colour printing, which significantly raises the level of cockpit detail over standard plastic kit parts. The etched parts accurately replicate the actual layout of the Z-50's cockpit instruments and controls, and the color printing ensures a faithful representation of the instrument dials and windshields without the need for hand painting. The kit is primarily designed to fit AZ Model and Model Maker kits in the same scale, with which it is form compatible. The package does not contain paint or adhesives.
