Hobby Boss 1/48 TBM-3 Avenger is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The carrier-based TBM-3 Avenger offers markings for VT-83 aboard USS Essex in April 1945 or VT(N)-90 aboard USS Enterprise in March 1945. Wings can be assembled extended or folded for a carrier-deck display.
The represented radial engine can be displayed beneath open cowling panels. Clear glazing complements the cockpit and rear gun turret, while the open bomb bay contains a torpedo. Flaps offer a choice of position during assembly, and photo-etched details are included. With the wings extended, model wingspan is approximately 350.6 mm. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
