1/48 MiG-23 MF recommended for Trumpeter
Yahu Model YMA4842 is a set of etched parts with color printing designed to detail the cockpit in 1:48 scale, specifically the instrument panel of the MiG-23MF fighter aircraft. The kit is recommended for Trumpeter kits. The package does not contain paint or glue.
The MiG-23MF (NATO code name: Flogger-B) was an export variant of the Soviet MiG-23M variable wing geometry fighter aircraft, delivered from the second half of the 1970s to Warsaw Pact countries and other Soviet allies. Unlike the indigenous version, the MF was equipped with slightly lighter avionics and a modified R-27F2M-300 engine, while retaining the key combat capabilities of the original - the Sapfir RP-23 radar, R-23/R-24 series air-to-air missiles and a top speed of over Mach 2. The cockpit of the MiG-23MF was a typical product of the Soviet design school of the 1970s: analogue instruments in the characteristic "Russian square" layout, ASP-23MLD central sight, SPO-10 warning system and K-36DM ejection seat. Visibility from the cockpit was limited, partially compensated by the rear periscope. Operators of the MiG-23MF included Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Cuba and the GDR, among others.
The Yahu Model YMA4842 kit is a photo-etched 1:48 scale instrument panel with color printing directly on the brass plate. The precision printing of dials, switches and labels eliminates the need for additional painting of the instruments - colour details are included. The kit is recommended for Trumpeter kits. The package does not contain paint or adhesives.
