1/48 HP.52 Hampden B.Mk.I - Vickers K and Browning Machine Guns (single installation)/for ICM

The Handley Page HP.52 Hampden was a British twin-engined medium bomber that formed part of the RAF's armament in the early years of World War II. It was one of the types referred to as a "medium bomber" and was deployed primarily in night bombing operations over Europe. It was characterised by its narrow fuselage section and relatively weak defensive armament, which consisted of several .303-inch machine guns mounted in various positions. The defensive armament was one of the points where the Hampden differed from other bombers of its time - the machine guns were mounted in movable trays manned by crew members, which required good coordination and brought limitations in fire cover.

The 1:48 scale CMK supplement offers a resin version of the Vickers K and Browning machine guns in a single installation, a variant of the armament corresponding to the specific configuration used on the Hampden. The resin parts allow finer detail than standard plastic parts and are suitable for modellers wishing to increase the verisimilitude and visual quality of defensive positions. The add-on is designed for ICM kits and requires basic experience working with resin (sanding, cleaning the casting, bonding with special glue). Paint and glue are not included.
