Hobby Boss 1/48 F-105D Thunderchief is a plastic kit of a fighter-bomber. The Republic F-105D Thunderchief was a single-seat supersonic fighter-bomber of the US Air Force designed for low-level strike missions. During the Vietnam War it flew a large share of the strikes against North Vietnam, and earned the nickname “Thud”.
According to the manufacturer the kit offers fine recessed panel lines, cockpit detail, clear canopy parts, complete armament and decals for two options. The finished model is about 430 mm long. ModellFan magazine named it Model of the Year 2008. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
