Trumpeter 1/350 USS Midway CV-41 depicts the carrier’s early straight flight deck. This configuration differs markedly from the later reconstruction with an angled landing deck. Deck arrangement is therefore the key distinction when choosing a model of Midway.
Kit 05634 has over 1,290 parts, 37 sprues and an overall length of 841 mm. It supplies a one-piece full hull, decks, display stand and anchor chain. Photo-etched details cover railings, radars and bridge and deck components. The air group includes F4U Corsairs and SB2C Helldivers, with decals for both ship and aircraft. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
