Logistics and reconnaissance played a key role during Operation Overlord and the subsequent Allied advance through France. Although the American Expeditionary Corps was highly motorized, horses were still used primarily for support purposes in difficult terrain, including supply and communications.
MiniArt 1/35 U.S. Horsemen. Normandy 1944 offers a detailed set of two U.S. soldiers on horseback in riding harness typical of Western Europe in 1944. The set includes figures of the horsemen in authentic uniforms with equipment and accessories, as well as realistically rendered horses and saddle gear.
This model is an ideal complement for dioramas depicting the rural setting of Normandy, where American troops operated during the liberation of France.
Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
