1/35 IDF Puma Cev
Hobby Boss 1/35 IDF Puma CEV is a 1/35th scale plastic model construction kit of the Israeli Engineer Vehicle. The Puma is a rebuild of the Centurion tank and was designed primarily for mine clearance operations and support of the Israeli army's engineer units.
For decades, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have used Centurion tank conversions for a variety of specialized tasks. One of these conversions was the Puma CEV (Combat Engineering Vehicle), which entered service in the 1990s. Its robust design with heavy armour protected the crew during dangerous operations and allowed deployment in areas with high risk of mines and IEDs.
The Puma CEV was used primarily by engineer units to clear mines and create passageways in mined zones. It was often equipped with demining ploughs or towed rollers and accompanied Israeli infantry and armoured units in combat operations. It was characterized by its high durability, reliability and ability to operate in the harsh conditions of the Middle East.
The Hobby Boss 1/35th scale kit offers a detailed model of this engineer vehicle with authentic proportions and realistic details of the chassis, armour and engineer equipment. It is suitable for modelers who want to expand their collection with a specialized variant of Israeli armoured vehicles.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
