Special Hobby 1/32 X-15A-2 'White Ablative Coating' is a plastic model of the legendary 1960s hypersonic aircraft that still holds the world speed record and was the first manned machine to reach the edge of space. The aircraft played a key role in the preparation of the US Apollo space programme and its test flights made a significant contribution to the development of aerospace.

• The kit allows you to build a model of the X-15A-2 as seen on W. J. 'Pete' Knight's record-breaking flight.
• Includes detailed resin parts including a mock-up of the shock engine, etched parts, plastic stand and decals for white ablative paint.
• The model can be built on a transport trolley or in flight configuration.
• Limited edition in 1/32 scale.
