A launch cart used to start jet engines using a high-pressure, high-velocity airflow generated by a small turbine concealed within the starter’s body. The MA-1A cart was in service from the 1950s and was used with many USAF jet aircraft, such as the T-33A and T-38, but it was also capable of starting the massive turboprop C-130. The kit includes photo-etched parts and decals.
