The Royal Aircraft Factory BE2c was a two-seat single-engined biplane that served with the British Royal Flying Corps (RFC) from 1914. The BE2c variant was an improved version with a redesigned tail and modified wing design for improved stability. It was powered by rotary or inline engines, most commonly 90 hp Renault, and reached a top speed of around 116 km/h.

The aircraft was intended primarily for reconnaissance missions, photographing enemy positions and light bombing. Due to its exceptional stability, the BE2c was popular with pilots for its ease of controlbut this feature made it vulnerable in combat against more modern fighters, especially during the Fokker plague. Nevertheless, it remained in service for most of the war and became one of the most produced British aircraft of its time.

The 1/72nd scale Airfix Classic Kit A02101 offers a detailed rendition of this historically significant machine and is ideal for modellers interested in the early days of military aviation.

The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
