AK Interactive AK306 Salt Streaks for Ships (35 ml) is an enamel modeling effect for salt maps and water streaks on both vertical and horizontal surfaces of ships. Appearance: light streaks of dried salt. On the sides of the hull, apply the effect in the direction of water runoff; on horizontal surfaces, create irregular patterns. Volume: 35 ml.
AK Interactive AK306 Salt Streaks for Ships (35 ml) Used to create the effect of light streaks of dried salt. It is designed for salt maps and water streaks on both vertical and horizontal surfaces of ships. On the sides of the hull, apply the effect in the direction of water runoff; on horizontal surfaces, create irregular patterns.
Recommended Procedure
- Shake the bottle thoroughly and work on a completely cured surface.
- Using a fine, pointed brush, apply short, irregular lines and patterns in areas where such marks would naturally form.
- Let the product dry for about 10 minutes. Then, using a clean flat brush lightly moistened with White Spirit, soften the streaks in the direction of their natural flow.
- Vary the length and intensity of the streaks. Once dry, selected areas can be enhanced with another thin coat.
- Allow the layer to dry thoroughly before applying another coat of paint or another enamel effect.
Use AK Interactive White Spirit 35 ml to blend and remove excess. For finer work and less odor, AK Interactive Odorless Thinner 35 ml is recommended.
