AK Enamel Air Weathering Grease Shafts & Bearings (35 ml)

AK Interactive AK2032 Shafts and Bearings Grease (35 ml) Used to create the effect of a thicker, greasy surface with a lubricant-like texture. It is designed to simulate lubricant on shafts, bearings, hubs, and mechanical joints in aircraft, vehicles, and rail equipment. Before it dries completely, the surface can be shaped, and you can use a toothpick to create subtle traces of movement or smudges.

Recommended Procedure

1. Shake the bottle thoroughly and work on a dry, clean, and fully cured surface.
2. Using a fine brush, apply small spots, drops, and streaks only to areas where liquid or grease would actually leak.
3. For a fresh and bold effect, apply the product directly from the bottle. For older, fainter, or partially wiped-away marks, dilute it with White Spirit.
4. Adjust the size and intensity of the stains with a clean brush dampened with thinner. Apply the next layer only after the previous one has dried.
5. For grease effects, you can use a toothpick to create subtle traces of movement, smudging, or mechanical contact before the paint is completely dry.
6. Allow the layer to dry thoroughly before applying another coat of paint or another enamel effect.

Use AK Interactive White Spirit 35 ml to blend and remove excess. For finer work and less odor, AK Interactive Odorless Thinner 35 ml is recommended.
